Returns & refunds

Because you buy from us online, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal (ångerrätt) under Swedish law. You may cancel your order for any reason — or no reason — within 14 days of receiving it. For an order delivered in several shipments, the 14 days run from the day the last item arrives. To meet the deadline, it's enough to tell us before the 14 days are up.

How to withdraw

Start a return in your Burner Atelier account (Account → Orders → Return items), or email support@burneratelier.com with your order number and the items concerned. You may also use the model withdrawal form below. We'll confirm and send return instructions.

Sending items back

Send the goods back without undue delay and within 14 days of telling us you're withdrawing. Please use a tracked service and keep your proof of postage — we can't take responsibility for returns lost in transit. You may unpack and examine items as you would in a shop.

Refunds

We refund everything you paid, including the original (standard) delivery cost. If you chose a delivery option more expensive than our standard one, we refund up to the cost of the standard option. Refunds are made within 14 days of being told of your withdrawal, using your original payment method. We may withhold the refund until we've received the goods back, or you've shown proof of return.

Return shipping

You pay the direct cost of returning the goods, unless the item is faulty or incorrectly supplied. This is shown to you before you order.

Reduced value

You're only liable for any reduction in an item's value caused by handling it beyond what's necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning. Ordinary trying-on doesn't reduce value.

When the right of withdrawal doesn't apply

By law it doesn't apply to sealed goods that aren't suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed — grip socks once the hygiene seal is broken, and water bottles once used — or to items made to your specifications. This applies only to those items; the 14-day right applies in full to sale and discounted items.

Faulty or incorrect items

Your statutory rights are unaffected. If an item is faulty, damaged on arrival, or not what you ordered, you have up to three years to report an original fault. Email support@burneratelier.com and we'll put it right at our cost, including return shipping.

Exchanges

We're happy to exchange unworn, unwashed items in original condition where stock allows. This is a goodwill service, separate from your right of withdrawal. Email support@burneratelier.com to arrange one.
